How to copy instructions into a Grok Bot
Paste an open-source PROFILE, or add a legitimate https share on grok.com, x.com, or x.ai/bot. This site does not run bots for you.
This hub does not host or run Grok Bot. You copy a contract, or you follow a legitimate share URL.
Open-source PROFILE path (preferred)
Used by listings that ship a full MIT / CC BY file, such as PR Reviewer and Spec Writer.
- Open the template and read limits and safety first.
- Use Copy instructions. That text includes the license footer on purpose.
- Create a Grok Bot with the same name as the PROFILE.
- Paste into Edit Profile (Description), not into a one-off chat — unless the source says to paste a SETUP.md URL as the first message.
- Connect only the plugins the PROFILE names.
- Send the First task. Stay at L1: draft, do not send / merge / pay.
Some profiles (HAEGONG) tell you to paste a raw SETUP.md URL as the first message so the Bot fetches PROFILE.md itself. Follow the source.
Share-link path
Add to Grok Bot appears when the page has an https share URL on grok.com, x.com, or x.ai/bot/…. Example: Bouncer.
- Open the official share page, not a screenshot.
- Read identity, skills, routines, and requested tools.
- Add it, then connect the smallest useful permissions.
- Run one reversible task before enabling send, purchase, or delete.
If that button is missing, copy the instructions instead. Never paste tokens into this site.
Why both paths exist
A PROFILE is text you can audit in git. A share is an installable Bot. This hub leads with open-source text; live shares are the rest of the shelf, still attributed.
